VALLEY FIGURE
SKATING SPRING CONTRACT
v Reminder: You may not register for the Spring ice contract, test, or compete until all previous
balances have been paid in full and your membership has been paid.
v Contract & Payment is due March 1, 2010. Debbie McCarthy is now handling the ice
contracts and the sign-in sheets. Please
make sure to send contracts and payments to her at the address shown on the
contract.
v Due to high
demand for some ice sessions, all contracts will be date stamped when
received. Contracted spots for each
session will be given to the first 23 contracts received by the due date. If more than 23 contracts are received on the
same dates, priority will be then given to those who pay the entire contract in
full. Beyond these criteria, the Board
reserves the right to allocate contracted spots for each session at their
discretion.
v Please read the
contract carefully so that you sign up for all of the sessions you want.
Each skater must decide whether to
contract on a Per-Minute (PM) basis or on an Unlimited (UL) basis. YOU MUST CONTRACT FOR ONLY ONE OPTION FOR THE
ENTIRE CONTRACT PERIOD MARCH 8 –
Per Minute (PM) Contracted
Skaters:
1.
Cost is $0.28 per minute (this has not changed).
2.
Walk-on Policy (this has not changed): Per Minute Contracted skaters will be charged
walk-on ice fees to their account for any ice used which is not contracted or
make-up. Skaters must sign the
attendance book as a “charge” or “check” (including check number). Please don’t use abbreviations for check or
charge.
Any member with unpaid accounts must
pay cash. Deposit checks and cash in the
lock box in the skating office. Guest
skaters are required to pay before taking the ice and must be USFS
members. Walk-on fees are $3.00 more
than the contract fee.
3.
Make-up/Refunds (This has changed): Make-up ice is available for all absences;
however, the date of absence must be marked in the book at the time of
make-up. If no date is indicated you
will be charged a walk-on fee. Skaters may
sign-up for make-up in advance. All
make-up dates must be used in the current contract period and not carried
forward. This is a binding contract for the
entire contract period. It has always been the policy of the Valley Figure
Skating Club, Inc. that there will be NO REFUNDS given for any ice contracts
submitted, except for cases of prolonged illness or injury. In the case of
prolonged illness or injury, all requests for refunds or credits must be
submitted in writing to a board member. These requests will be considered by
the board on a case by case basis at the next scheduled board meeting.
Unlimited (UL) Contracted
Skaters:
1. This Option is only available to FULL members
of the Valley Figure Skating Club who are in good standing and have no
outstanding balances due to the club.
